the prettiest beet hummus

You guys, I can't express enough how easy this recipe is. It's not even a recipe- you just throw a bunch of ingredients into a food processor and then press a button. So easy. 
I am loving this Beet Hummus for a few reasons. 1. It is a gorgeous, bright pink that resembles raspberry sorbet. 2. It's such a simple dish that you can make on a whim and 3. Beets are detoxing superstars and help cleanse the body of toxins. Fantastic. Beets are packed full of antioxidants and contain nutrients that aid in cleansing the liver. As you may or may not know, the liver is the VIP of all the organs when it comes to detoxing as it processes everything that you put into your body. Nutrients contained in beets help boost detoxification and help rid the body of toxins more efficiently so that they don't get reabsorbed back into body. So yes, this hummus is pretty inside and out. I N G R E D I E N T S
1 can of organic chickpeas
1/2 can of organic beets (you can roast a raw beet if you prefer)
1 tbs of tahini
2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic glove
1 small lemon, juiced
healthy sprinkling of salt and pepper

vegetables for dipping

R E C I P E
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth
Add more seasoning, lemon or garlic if you prefer
