What does it include?
- Initial health history consultation
You'll complete a health history questionnaire that will provide your coach with an in-depth assessment of your primary health goals so we can formulate a realistic plan of action.
- Weekly 55 minute phone or Skype call (twenty four total)
The weekly meeting is a no-nonsense, tough love time where we discuss how you succeed, what you need to work on and how we can take your health to the next level. Through our time together, we will pinpoint what you want to accomplish most and the best route to succeed. We will dig deep and find the true causes behind why you may struggle in particular areas. For example, recognizing that it may be more complex than just having a "lack of self control" that is resulting in overeating. The Transformation Program is the most intensive of the plans. With more time, you are able to achieve a greater amount of goals and are more prone to sustain new habits and create long-term change.
- Daily email and text support (unlimited)
Let's say you've had a really healthy week, you've lost a couple pounds, you're feeling confident and clear minded. All of a sudden you are facing a stressful problem at work or at home. Your traditional go-to to make yourself "feel better" would be binge eating junk food. You know this routine well and it only temporarily relieves the stress. However, soon enough the sugar buzz wears off and you are feeling blue again. What if instead of immediately retreating to the junk you text your health coach for some wisdom? You are honest about the situation and have someone there for you that is keeping you accountable, reminding you of the great progress you have made thus far and offers alternative self-love practices to ease the stress. Do you think you'd be more or less likely to abandon your health practices? Your coach is just that. A coach. A Mentor. We want you to succeed and we are on the same team.
- 3 day juice + smoothie cleanse guidance
The program will begin with a three day cleanse to jumpstart weight loss and detoxify the body. This may seem like a daunting task but with the guidance, information and support from your coach, you will soon see and feel the benefits for yourself. Lux Lake will provide a cleansing guide with the recipes, a grocery list and tips for overcoming detox systems and cravings. With the Transformation Program, you have the option to do an additional 3 day cleanse (or longer) at the half mark of the program.
- Individualized goals and recommendations
Everyone is different and therefore has their own objectives. Together we will make tangible goals and breakdown the steps to attain them.
For example, let's say your goals are weight loss related and you want to lose 20 pounds in 6 months. It sounds like a reasonable target. But it's less likely that you will reach the goal if you face it in such a broad way. Instead of vowing to never eat junk food again, we'll use small, concise steps that will crowd out the unhealthy food and lifestyle choices. For example, education on harmful ingredients, practice creating nutritious recipes, mindful eating, adding in more whole foods, cultivating a stress free environment and finding the root cause of unhealthy cravings. With palpable, realistic steps, you're more inclined to achieve your goals. With the 6 Month Program you have the greatest opportunity to make big, lasting change.
- Informative handouts
Knowledge is power. You'll receive information on an array of topics such as different dietary theories, sugar addiction, self-care, meditation, weight loss, whole foods, nutrition, reading food labels, juice cleansing, mindful eating, eating for your blood type, Ayurvedic medicine, fats, protein, plant based living, exercise, home detox, metabolism, vitamins, supplementation and natural beauty.
- Shopping lists and plant based recipes
Don't you wish someone would just give you a list of what's recommended to eat and what's not? Well you've come to the right place. You'll receive an extensive shopping list, pantry essentials, and plant based recipes.
- Meal Planning (Six Month Program Only)
We will work together to create meal plans with a focus on your specific health goals such as weight loss, inflammation, stabilizing blood pressure or better digestion.
